Busking heats will be held along Gympie Tce, Noosaville, near the Noosa River foreshore on Saturday 10 June from 9am to 5pm. The finals concert will be held as part of the Noosa Come Together Festival on the River Stage on Sunday 11 June.

Musicians including solo performers, choirs, ensembles, junior and senior school groups and others will perform at selected sites along the Noosa River in 20-minute spots. There will also be international food, kids entertainment, water activities, dancing and more street fun.

Roaming judges and people's choice busker dollars will be used to determine three finalists who will perform at the Noosa Come Together Festival.

The Noosa Busking Championships are part of a nationwide cultural celebration of music and street performance with five regional competitions around Australian in 2017.

Buskers must pre-register - CLICK HERE for the entry form.

The Noosa Busking Championships are presented by the Rotary Club of Noosa Heads and the Noosa Come Together Festival. All profits will be distributed to local disability charities including the Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club's Sailability program.

VISIT NOOSA

Just how close to a humpback whale would you feel comfortable being? Watching the majesty of humpbacks as they travel through the warm waters off Noosa on their annual migration north is an unforgettable sight – their playful tail slaps, breaches, sprays and fin ‘waves’ seem even more incredible when you consider their size … around 15m in length and weighing more than 35 tonnes!
