Noosa Festival of Surfing

The Laguna Real Estate Noosa Festival of Surfing, the world’s largest surfing event by competitor numbers, returns for 8 Days of Pure Stoke with events for grommets to grandpas, dogs, body surfers, specialty and pro divisions.

Entries are now open and organisers expect to beat the 2016 competitor numbers which saw more than 800 entries from more than 20 countries.

Age divisions are from under 15 to over 70, and there are 11 specialty events, including nose-riding, bodysurfing, finless and the popular Surfing Dog Spectacular.

The Beach Bar, right on the sand at First Point has nightly entertainment, live music, film screenings and talks - as well as beautiful sunset views.
