Coolum is a family-oriented beachside getaway offering plenty of sights and activities for you and your family to enjoy. If you're heading to Coolum in October, be sure to check out the IGA Coolum Kite Festival, featuring astounding displays of giant, novelty kites.

This event attracts thousands of visitors each year, running for 2 full days allowing you and your family to soak in the sun and the fun! If you're feeling a little bit adventurous, then you might want to give tandem skydiving a go. Ramblers skydive company regularly organises tandem dives over the white sands of Coolum beach.

The parachute experience offers a serene, picturesque view of Mount Coolum and gives you a vivid 360-degree view of the coastline while you're aloft.
