Once the only items of local produce that seemed to find their way to the table were those subtropical perennials: bananas, paw paws and pineapples. How times have changed!
Our region now brings to the tables of Noosa and beyond exotic fruits, native, Mediterranean and Asian vegetables, succulent poultry, sunshine yellow yolked eggs, some of the best goat cheese in the country, freshly pressed olive oil, artisan baked breads, sensational lean pork, delicious cooking pastes made on site from the labours of the land and every season produces yet more diversity.
