Noosa is a nature lover’s paradise and what better way to explore the flora and fauna within our region than by experiencing one of the many trails Noosa has to offer.

The Noosa Trail Network caters for walkers, horse riders and mountain bike riders and is a network of well signposted trails of various lengths and across a variety of terrain. The trails can be completed in sections or, for more of an adventure, why not combine a few trails together.

Most trails feature picnic shelters, water tanks, interpretive signs and scenic lookouts.

For more information visit the Sunshine Coast Regional Council website or pick up a brochure at one of our Visitor Information Centres.

The Noosa Bird Trail has been established to provide visitors and locals with a way of seeking out the elusive pockets of forest that contain thriving birdlife.

Noosa has a prolific range of birdlife within a rich diversity of environments from eucalypt woodland and beaches to our wonderful rainforests.

For more information visit the or pick up a brochure at one of our Visitor Information Centres.

The Lake Macdonald Paddle Trail has been created to ensure that you get the most of out your paddling experience on the lake. Suitable for canoes and kayaks, Lake Macdonald is home to abundant wildlife and is bordered by Noosa’s Botanic Gardens.

There is no swimming in the lake however, with a permit, you can fish for Bass, Saratoga, Perch or even an iconic Mary River Cod.
