Things to do
Take a break under the shady trees in the landscaped village square. The local shops and businesses look into the square and include boutiques that specialise in hip clothes for mums and kids, the latest fashions and cafes serving great coffee and delicious treats.
Pick up local produce and crafts at the regular Peregian community market, held on the second and fourth Sunday morning of each month. Following the markets, soak up the sounds of a Sunday outdoor Peregian Originals concert where participating musicians are required to perform their own, original material (no covers allowed).
Book a table at a local restaurant or family-friendly bistro, or find a spot for lunch in the beach foreshore picnic area. Dine at the award-winning restaurant at the local golf club or call in for a relaxed meal or drink with great views at the surf club.
If you’re feeling active, why not cycle from Noosa to Peregian – there are sealed bike paths for most of the 7-kilometre journey along the coastline, or head for a surf or swim at the popular town beach, which is patrolled year-round.
Take in views to the coast and mountains from nearby Emu Mountain, which can be reached via a moderately easy rocky walking path from Havana Road at Peregian Beach.
