01 -10 oct	Showcase 2009 Loosely based on a 'Variety Show' concept, with wonderful music designed by Bruce Hamilton, the Showcase 2009 cast performs many a tribute to some of the worlds most popular and favourite Musicals, with some genuine comedic moments and some outstanding individual performances.

03 -04 oct	IGA Coolum Kite Festival The IGA Coolum Kite Festival is now in its 9th year and will be held on the 3rd & 4th of October 2009. The IGA Coolum Kite Festival attracted thousands of spectators last year, which ran for 2 full days including the Saturday night. This year we are having the same format.

28 oct -01 nov	Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival The Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival is steeped in rich history and uniqueness not matched anywhere in the world. The festival is brought together with an irresistible mix of sport and entertainment coupled with sun, sea and surf in one of Australia’s most popular destinations. The weeklong festival of swimming, cycling, running, triathlon events for everyone from 7-80+, two golf tournaments (celebrity and corporate), massive sport and lifestyle expo, corporate/VIP facilities and a serious after Party you’ll also need to train for.
