01 -31 may	Noosa Mayfiesta In Noosa there is always something worth celebrating, particularly during Noosa's Mayfiesta where you will find a host of sensational events and hot holiday deals.

03 may	Ripe Noosa Music Festival RIPE NOOSA 09 - will be showcasing the cream of Australian musical talent. Eskimo Joe – Faker – The Potbelleez – Bliss n Eso – Blue King Brown – The Drones – Pez - Dead Letter Circus plus some of this countries biggest DJ acts who are all set to bring the Sunshine Coast alive on Sunday May 3rd, Labour Day Long Weekend.

07 -10 may	Carnivale Noosa An open community celebration of Noosa will draw on Noosa's collective and individual stories, songs, poems, artworks, performances, gatherings, dreams, achievements, innovations, adventures and media to portray Noosa.

15 -17 may	Noosa Journal Riverfest Regatta Noosa Journal Riverfest Regatta was initiated by the Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club so club members and the community alike can enjoy the beautiful Noosa River. RiverFest is now in its 13th successful year.

16 may	Noosa AUSSI Challengers Masters Swim Meet The Noosa AUSSI Challengers Swim Meet is for all registered AUSSI Masters swimmers and will be held on Saturday 16 May 2009. The meet is fast becoming the Melbourne Cup of Masters swimming with prize monies, unsurpassed by any other Masters club in Australia being awarded.

17 may	Noosa Blue Water Swim Now in its sixth season, the Noosa Blue Water Swim is gaining momentum with each passing year and continues to win over swimming enthusiasts looking for a great destination event heading into the more temperate season – and what better place to escape then Noosa. The now famous annual event takes advantage of Noosa’s fabulous climate, sublime lifestyle and relaxed atmosphere.

20 may	Melbourne Comedy Festival at The J It’s Australia’s biggest giggle, but we don’t see why Melbourne should keep all the laughs to itself. In 2009, the Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow is cutting 40,000 kilometres worth of laps all around the country, bringing the laughs to you! Great stand up, music, appealing and anarchic characters - we’ve crammed the very Best of the Fest into the Tarago to deliver huge nights of the best comedy to your door (well almost).

21 -24 may	Ignition New Media and Film Festival at The J Ignition New Media and Film Festival explodes with a a unique blend of film and new media installations & live performances."Ignition" embraces diversity and innovation in the creative industries.

21 -28 may	Noosa Junction Plaza Festival of Bowls Tournament The Noosa Heads Bowls Club in partnership with Noosa Junction Plaza is privileged to be conducting the inaugural festival of lawn bowls on May 21 and May 28.

24 may	Noosa Wedding Expo itsmywedding.com.au extends to you an invitation to come to the Noosa Wedding Expo at Noosa Springs on the 24 May 2009.

30 may	Streetfest on Thomas Mayfiesta Finale - 2009 Streetfest on Thomas! Come down to Thomas Street Noosaville to enjoy the action packed family street party with a wide range of entertainment for all the family and a variety of cuisine from the local restaurants. An event not to be missed!
