The Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival is steeped in rich history and uniqueness not matched anywhere in the world. The festival is brought together with an irresistible mix of sport and entertainment coupled with sun, sea and surf in one of Australia’s most popular destinations. The weeklong festival of swimming, cycling, running, triathlon events for everyone from 7-80+, two golf tournaments (celebrity and corporate), massive sport and lifestyle expo, corporate/VIP facilities, a Miss and Mr Noosa Model Search and a serious after Party you’ll also need to train for.

The highlight of the festival is the triathlon which draws 5,500 triathletes each year to the Olympic-distance course (1.5km swim, 40km cycle, 10km run). The Noosa Tri is the 3rd largest triathlon in the world only surpassed by London and Chicago.

Supporting events on the program include: Eyeline 1000 Noosa Ocean Swim – past winners include Grant Hackett and Kieren Perkins. Asics 5km Bolt – past winners include Sonia O’Sullivan and Craig Mottram, the Noosa Cycling Criterium featuring the likes of Tour de France stage winners Robbie McEwen and Cadel Evans.

Add a whole host of high profile personalities for celebrity spotting and its little wonder spectator numbers swell to more then 30,000 with a total of 8,500 competitors across all events.
