This year’s Noosa Beach Classic Car Show will feature MG as marque of the year. The annual event, run by the Noosa Beach Classic Car Club and now regarded as the most prestigious classic car show in Queensland, celebrates its 24th anniversary this year.
The show. from 9am to 3pm, will feature a spectacular display of MGs, along with other European and British classics and sports cars, American and Australian iron and muscle cars, Asian sports cars and classic competition cars.
More than 300 cars are expected to assemble in Noosa Woods park, at the Noosa Spit end of Hastings Street, Noosa Heads. With a backdrop of Noosa National Park, Noosa River, canal waterways, Noosa Beach and the vibrant Hastings Street, wandering through the displays is sure to be a great day out for visitors and locals.
From humble beginnings in the late ’80s, the Noosa Beach Classic Car Show last year produced more than 280 exhibitors and 5000-plus visitors.
The Noosa Beach Classic Car Club invites high quality and interesting classic vehicles to enter – exhibitors must pre-register.
A free shuttle bus will operate from the Noosa Cinema Centre at Noosa Junction. All proceeds from the day (less expenses) are donated to local charities. So far, the Noosa Beach Classic Car Club has given more than $140,000.00 to local community charities.
Tickets cost $5 for spectators (children under 14 free), $25 per car exhibited, including two adults.
