noosa historic hill climb 'the hill'

Come and enjoy the excitement of the Historic Noosa Hill Climb, affectionately known as 'The Hill' and classed as one of the premier hill climb events in Australia.
This year’s event on November 12 and 13 is the 14th annual running of the Historic Noosa Hill Climb and will feature a line-up of well known drivers in exotic race cars in action.
The Hill, run by the Noosa Beach Classic Car Club and the Historic Racing Car Club (Qld), takes competitors through the winding uphill course of picturesque Gyndier Drive, Tewantin.
With such a broad range of makes and models competing, such as the Skelta, XU1s, Minis, Fiats, GTs, Jags, open wheel hill climb specials and too many more to mention, there is sure to be at least one car to stir your passion.
There are several spectator areas to catch the action, and catering and a licensed bar are available. Wander around the pits, talk to the drivers and get up close to the cars.
The Hill has previously attracted such notables as Vern Schuppan, Kevin Bartlett, and Dick and Steve Johnson.
Parking is available at Tewantin Sports Ground, Poinciana Avenue, with a shuttle bus to all entrances, running from 8am to 5pm.
The event is held within Tewantin National Park so please leave your dogs at home, Smoking is not permitted.
Tickets cost $15 for 1 day or $20 for a weekend pass and are available at the gates.
