The Noosaville Lions Park will play host to the first annual Noosa River Festival on the 16th of May and will be integrated into the Mayfiesta activities for the Sunshine Coast local community and regional visitors to enjoy.
A grand opening parade incorporating a multitude of local businesses, schools, rescue services, motor enthusiasts, sporting and community groups will entertain the crowds with prizes and give a ways.
Local restaurants will partake in the ‘One Dish Wonder’ culinary attraction to produce their signature dish and be sold for $5 per plate, which will be publicly judged.
Zinc 96.1 is broadcasting live, holding competitions on the day and hosting the celebration of live music, along side the Villa Noosa Hotel, to certainly entertain the public with guest performers and local acts.
Roaming performers creating atmosphere, children’s activities assigned to specialists in the field and the River Fest Regatta race program will have visitors amused. This contemporary version of a community spirited, fun, family style festival is designed to appeal to and entertain all ages.
The Noosaville association has enlisted the talents of well-known local personality and entrepreneur Brendan Weatherill.
