Noosa Regional Gallery is a major public art gallery operated by the Noosa Council that presents a range of exhibitions in a variety of mediums, including touring exhibitions from national, state and regional galleries. One of the main exhibition themes is art and environment. Located in the Noosa Council Chambers in Tewantin, the gallery has a gift shop that sells creations by local artists and serves coffee at its café with river views.
Noosa is also home to a large creative community of professional artists and artisans, including glass blowers, printers, painters, sculptors, ceramicists and more, who exhibit their work in local businesses including cafes, book shops and restaurants as well as more traditional gallery spaces.
Some local artists run workshops or master classes at their studios, others open their doors by appointment and a few have their work on permanent show in sculpture gardens around their private homes.
