Getting to Noosa
There are many ways to travel to Noosa.
Air
Flights from most Australian capital cities arrive at and depart from Sunshine Coast Airport at Maroochydore, which is approximately 30 minutes’ drive south of Noosa.
Taxis and buses and helicopters are available for transfers to Noosa from the airport.
Brisbane airport is Queensland’s domestic and international gateway, with over 200 flights departing and arriving daily. There are a number of bus services to and from Brisbane Airport, alternatively, transfers may be arranged by helicopter or aircraft.

Road
Noosa is an easy 1 ½ hour drive north of Brisbane along the Bruce Highway. Take the turn-off at Eumundi and follow the signs along the Eumundi-Noosa Road. If you’re arriving from the North, Noosa is around 1 hour south of Gympie. Just continue on the Bruce Highway out of Gympie and turn off at Cooroy then follow the signs along the Cooroy Noosa Road until you reach Noosa.Greyhound Australia operates an extensive bus network around Australia, with Noosa a popular stop for many travellers.
