There's been a further drop in swell overnight. There's between 1 and 2 feet of easterly swell on the open beaches, but it's a long wait for the 2 footers. The wind is light from the SW early and predicted to swing to the NE later today. If you're desperate try getting out there early before the afternoon seebreeze. A Bay and the open stretches of Peregian, Yaroomba, and Kawana will pick up a touch more swell, but be warned, it's tiny and tough going today. Check out the latest swell forecast.

Calm conditions continuing with winds predicted to start SW, before shifting SE later in the day. Mooloolaba and Noosa will be the pick of the spots given the southerly winds. Some small rips do remain however, so please be sure to swim only within the red & yellow flags and take note of any warning signage displayed by Lifeguards on duty. NO FLAGS=NO SWIM
