6 remarkable swimming spots for the perfect summer vibe

Summer has officially arrived so get your favourite swimwear on because we're about to unveil 6 of Noosa's best swimming spots that we think you should visit this summer! ☀️

1. DIP YOUR TOES IN AT LITTLE COVE

Picture this, it's Sunday morning, you've just finished a morning run right on Hastings St, and you’re keen for a post-workout cool down.

So, you take a short 15 min walk east towards Noosa National Park and before you know it, you're taking your first few steps into a tranquil paradise surrounded by bright blue summer sky and crystal-clear water lapping at your feet. That's Little Cove.

2. NOOSA MAIN BEACH

Noosa Main Beach holds a special place in the hearts of Noosa Locals. Its presence is breathtaking, wrapping around Noosa Headland, with waves rarely over 3ft high, flat sandy bottoms and crystal-clear water, this beach is the ideal location for swimmers and beginners to the world of surfing. If you’re not up for swimming, there’s plenty of room to throw out a towel, put up an umbrella and enjoy your summer days on the sand!

The Noosa Surf Lifesaving Club patrols this beach every day of the year, making it a great option for swimming any day of the year. Noosa Main Beach is also located right by Noosa’s iconic Hastings St.

Does two beaches in one morning, followed by an afternoon of shopping and topped off with Betty's Burgers for lunch sound as good to you as it does to us?

3. NOOSA FORESHORE - A LITTLE POCKET OF JOY

With the Noosa River winding through its heart, Noosaville is a laidback spot with spectacular views and is perfect for fishing, boating and an abundance of other water activities.

If you want to complete your day, hire a stand up paddleboard, Fliteboard, or Nauticycle from the team at EcoNoosa and glide your way through the Noosa Rivers beautiful crystal blue waters.

This beautiful river is unlike any other, it’s safe for swimming, has sandy banks lined with grassy parks and shaded trees that make it the perfect spot for a dip!

4. BRIGHTEN UP YOUR LIFE AT SUNSHINE BEACH

Sunshine Beach contains a picturesque stretch of long sandy beaches for swimmers and surfers alike and is a favourite among locals. The northern end of Sunshine Beach is dog friendly so our pooches can enjoy the water too!

Just a short stroll from the patrolled beach are local shops. Grab a cold drink, some fish and chips, locally brewed coffee or sit down for an Asian inspired meal from Embassy XO. There are even some boutiques that are worth a wander!

5. DIVE INTO HOTEL LAGUNA

Get your swimmers on and the sunscreen out because it's time to pack your bags and get to Hotel Laguna, which is home to stylish, self-catered apartments located on Hastings St. Hotel Laguna is positioned in the perfect spot to enjoy the water - right between Noosa's beaches and the Noosa River, PLUS, they have a beautiful pool (pictured) you won’t be able to resist!

If you are looking for a holiday apartment that is close to restaurants and cafes, is tucked away, quiet and has all the swimming options you could dream of, then Hotel Laguna is the ultimate option for your ideal summer vacay.
