Great news for chocolate lovers (who isn’t?) – the Noosa Chocolate Factory now has a local retail outlet at 1/15 Project Avenue, Noosaville, open Mon-Fri from 9am to 2pm; and Sat from 10am to 4pm.
For the ultimate in food and wine gifts, you can’t go past a ticket to one of the amazing events at the Noosa Food & Wine Festival (16-20 May 2019 - pictured above) – the program’s out now and tickets are on sale. There are beachfront brunches, dinners with celebrity chefs, hinterland trails, parties under the stars, and an amazing weekend at the riverfront Festival Village (entry from $25). How about a taste of Noosa beer – or a brewery tour! We are blessed with several breweries, all with their own distinct style and tastes.
Land & Sea Brewery, 19 Venture Drive, Noosaville has merch from $5 or get a take-home carton of beer (pictured above), a growler to fill and fill again with your favourite beer on-tap, gift cards – and even beer soap.
Eumundi Brewery at the Imperial Hotel has tasting tours from $20 and a range of their own gear including caps and bottle openers.
CootharaBar boutique brewery at Habitat Noosa,, Lake Flat Rd, Elanda Point, overlooks Lake Cootharaba, open from 11am, with great tastes from their own Eco Brewing Co.
Bonsai Brewhouse is a rustic beergarden and brewhouse in the Noosa hinterland (28 King St Cooran) with amazing tastes including organic and some gluten-free. Open during the holidays on Thursday from 4pm to 8-ish, and Friday and Saturday from 11.30am to 9pm – gift vouchers available at the bar.
Copperhead Brewery at 52 Kauri St, Cooroy has about a dozen craft beers on tap at their restaurant – all brewed in-house.
Or give a gift voucher for a Noosa Brewery Tour with Sunshine Coast Craft Beer Tours to Land & Sea Brewery, Copperhead Brewery and Eumundi Brewery.
Noosa’s major sporting events attract thousands of people from around Australia and overseas, so why not give a sporty person in your life an entry to join in?
The Noosa Tri is the world’s largest, part of the Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival from 30 October to 3 November 2019, and while individual entries fill up in no time, charity entries are still available – it’s the gift that gives twice!
Or buy an entry into one of the five ocean swims at the Noosa Summer Swim (2-3 February), or the 2 junior events. Or give the cyclist in your life an entry to the Noosa Classic cycling event for Sunday 18 August.
