Some lucky ones have already started their Australia Day celebrations with an extra day off on Monday, and plenty of them are already here in Noosa. Surfers arrived early with the promise of a fantastic swell on the point breaks and open beaches over the weekend and leading into Australia Day.
The swell has brought deceptively powerful seas so if you are planning on an Australia Day swim, please make sure it’s between the flags on a patrolled beach.
If you’re planning on heading up to Noosa North Shore or Fraser Island, why not book a Suzuki Jimny 4WD in Noosa for a 2-day hire with UExplore 4x4 Auto Rental and receive a free camping package hire for 2. Available until 30 January and again for a romantic Valentine’s campaign getaway, from 12-19 February (conditions apply - see uexplore4x4.com.au or ph 1300 36 80 11).
