See the world differently at 2018 Noosa International Film Festival
With 80 short and feature-length films from 20 countries, you'll see a world of film at the 3rd annual Noosa International Film Festival, from 25-28 October 2018.
It's not all about sitting back and watching amazing films from around the world, there are events where you can talk about film, learn about film, and meet people behind incredible work in film, including Academy Award-winning cinematographer, and Festival patron, John Seale (Mad Max Fury Road), and Australian film editor Jill Bilcock who many consider influenced the look of cinema across the world with her work on Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet in 1996.
Seale and Bilcock are joined by Australian director Heath Davis (Book Week) for a panel discussion following the screening of Terror Nullius, a new Australian movie that incredibly mixes political satire, eco-horror and road movie by sampling and remixing some of the most iconic characters, moments and imagery from Australian films such as Mad Max: Fury Road, Babe and Picnic at Hanging Rock.
