The wonderful world that is Noosa Junction!

Explore the wonderful world of bars, laneways, restaurants, coffee shops, fashion boutiques, art and home design that's hidden within the buzzing Noosa Junction.

This ever-growing village is a bar hopper’s dream and spoils a foodie lover with plenty of choice with funky new gems popping up just over the hill from Hastings Street.

Trendy and diverse, the village offers retail therapy, local buys and over 200 storefronts to explore!

Nestled in the heart of Noosa Heads the Junction is known as everyone's favourite local, quite simply because we really do shop here.

However, to us, this part of our world is called ‘The Junga’. Can you blame us? We're Queenslanders after all.

In the last few years, the village has grown – and grown up – basically like a mini makeover, with refreshed offerings spilling from shopfront to streetside and a few coats of fresh paint making laneway murals a Junga thing.

Wanting to rediscover this hub of on-trend sites, eats and hidden gems we took to the streets with a few local 'grammers to uncover the Noosa Junction through new eyes.

Here are our top tips to help you discover the must-see spots when exploring this trending village...
Clo Studios

This sought after local mother-daughter duo opened their retail and interior design studio in Lanyana Way and it oozes Noosa vibes. The pair has been the talk of the town, popping up everywhere from local interiors and resort styling to shop fit-outs. You're sure to find their stylish and on-trend homewares somewhere in town!

Between us, you'd be silly not to visit this retail dream - sure to give you all the those "shut up and take my money" feels.

VanillaFood

Oh my yum! If you thought taking a snap of your food was a dying trend, think again. This place serves up the good stuff and has us wanting more every time.

VanillaFood is a familiar name to some, probs because their delicious eats have been pouring out of Belmondo's heaven (in Rene Street, Noosaville) for several years. If you're a fan, need we say more? But for those of you new to VanillaFood, let it be known that the food is SO GOOD, having a sister store on our streets is a trump.

Owning the foodie world, founder, owner and chef Nilla continues to embrace the power of food with locally sourced produce, leaving us with healthy and equally as yum eats, treats and feasts!

J2 Coworking

The way of the world is pretty innovative and the guys at J2 Coworking know how to feed our entrepreneurial minds.

This groovy coworking space is perfect for the working traveller, actually work travel is encouraged here. Why not suck up to the boss and make that deadline while enjoying a cheeky little Noosa break? It's a win-win really.

Next time you need to get away, don't feel guilty for leaving your fav co-worker, empower your creative mind and check it out J2! Even in between surfs, if necessary! Did we mention the FREE coffee? OK, sign us up!

MOTO

Wanna impress this visit? We've found your spot. This place just feels super cool as soon as you walk in.

It's a breakfast and lunch, come funky bar scene, made out of an old shipping container and styled with custom motorbikes and a hint of grunge.

Think tasty and local craft beers; delicious, honest Asian/Mexican/Spanish street food; locally roasted coffee; and drinks for every moment in between. Yes please!

Scumbags Barber

In desperate need of a trip to the barber but also super thirsty for a beer? Why not have both… Dah!

Scumbags, found on Noosa Drive screams MAN CAVE and they're all about providing genuine guys' haircuts for the blue and white collar workers. So if you're keen to get that fresh Noosa cut, our mates at Scumbags have totally got you covered and have potentially trimmed every bloke's noggin in town.

Lightyears

We know you're thinking 'to infinity and beyond' and you're sort of right - the food here is so scrumptious your taste buds will literally go to infinity and beyond.

This Asian diner born out of Byron Bay has hit our Noosa streets, creating quite the Buzz!

All puns aside, these guys are real-life foodies, serving up food designed to share amongst your best buddies and leaving a hot damn delicious mark.

Eddie Cheebas

Ahhh Eddies, this place is just one of those bars you’ll come back to time after time.

The people are great, the vibe is on-point and the good times literally roll on to the street. P.S. the cocktails are sooo epic it would be rude not to visit.

Village Bicycle

Now these guys have nailed it and were one of the first kids on the block to start this new Junga vibe.

After becoming the local hang a few years back, they out-grew their first site and moved smack bam in the middle of Sunshine Beach Road. Food, booze and good times are the main agenda here, and quite frankly, as soon as you walk in this theme literally flows through the space.

Out front, you've got casual, open-air dining perfect for after-work hangs and a cheeky people-watch. For something a little more intimate, head inside to the moody Melbourne-inspired bar, but our fav is out back where beer garden dreams come to life, featuring a giant mural, fairy lights and where the good times roll on.

Paradise Arcade

It's a Mexican-inspired restaurant-come-cocktail bar, making Instagrammable dreams come true!

Groovy photo ops are plastered over this joint from its fairy-lit setting, tropical palms and fiesta vibes to the indoor murals and endless Mexican nomms.

Our tip, bring your besties, share a feast and be sure not to miss out on the loaded fries and a classic margarita jug. It really comes as no surprise this place is named after paradise. Yum!

Abby Rose Bikinis

Well, let's just say Abby from Abby Rose is killing the swimwear scene in Noosa and has been for a while - since 2012 to be exact!

Starting out at the Eumundi Markets, there's no looking back for this ethical, sustainable, hand-made production. For just over a year this local fav has been pumping out bikinis like clockwork from the cutest little store tucked away in Arcadia Walk. Using recycled fabrics to create swimsuit beauties and shipping them off to beach babes around the world is the every day here.

So if you're craving a shopping day, leave a few hours spare to enjoy dressing up in 'kinis' before making a bee-line to the beach to show them off!

Mr Drifter. Street food, spice and everything nice! These dudes are all about mixing Asian cuisines and using local produce to do it, making it a funky and fresh flavour affair. Oh and to top it off ... COCKTAILS!
