Have a beer and chicken wings on Australia Day at The Imperial Hotel & Eumundi Brewery and you’ll be helping to raise funds for a special bushfire appeal. The crew at the hotel and brewery are spear-heading a week of fundraising efforts for wildlife rescue and fire services, including a special event on Australia Day, Sunday 26 January.
There’s free live entertainment in the Imperial Beer Garden from noon, with a line-up that includes Renny Field, Benny O, Forrest Run (Ayla) and vinyl DJ's.
The Eumundi Community Fire Appeal runs from Saturday 18 January to Sunday 26 January and funds raised will be shared with RSPCA Wildlife Rehabilitation Centres, Rural Fire Services and The Australian Red Cross. A Beerometer at the hotel will watch the donations rise as the beer glass fills. Every time you buy any of the five Eumundi beers on tap or selected wines during the week, you’ll be donating $4 to the fundraising efforts, and donation tins and raffles throughout the week will add to the funds.
Also on Australia Day, all proceeds from the sale of chicken wings will go to the appeal.
