With the Noosa River winding through its heart, Noosaville is a laidback holiday spot with gorgeous water views, shady trees and picnic spots along 2km of grassy foreshore.

Restaurants, boutiques and cafes along Gympie Terrace overlook the river and are close to a great range of family-friendly holiday accommodation and river hire businesses. Thomas Street and Weyba Road, overlooking Lake Weyba also have plenty of dining options.

Explore further for shopping centres, craft breweries, local design showrooms and markets.

Why we love it

Walk from your holiday resort to river and lakefront restaurants, cafes, and shops. There's endless family fun, romantic hideaways, gorgeous sun and moon rises, and sunsets over the river. Stroll or ride a bike along the foreshore. Go stand-up paddling, kayaking, fishing, catch the ferry or book a river cruise. Meet the local pelicans and seagulls!

The Shopping List

Riverside streets brim with fashion and shoes, book shops, surf gear, spas and beauty salons, wellness studios, homewares, and unique gift stores. Showrooms in the Noosaville Industrial Estate have locally-made designer clothes, shoes, and skincare; also homewares, hipster haircuts, furniture, recycled treasures and craft breweries.

What’s on the menu

Cool little coffee shops, health-food havens, restaurants, and breezy bars with river views – and fresh seafood. A little further back from the river, there are organic markets, craft breweries, and distilleries. Grab takeaway fish and chips, or let local delis fill your picnic basket and find a spot along the foreshore, and save room for a delicious ice cream!
