Hastings Street is the heart of Noosa Heads, loved for its wonderful mix of beachside luxury and laidback holiday vibes. Resorts, cafes, restaurants, bars and boutiques sit beside gift shops, surf stores, day spas and galleries.

Hastings Street buzzes from coffee carts at sunrise to Champagne brunches, long lunches, sunset cocktails and fairy-lit strolls along the boardwalk to dinner.

Low-rise and bordered by Noosa Main Beach, the Noosa River, Noosa National Park and the Noosa Spit parkland – it's no wonder it was voted the Best Main Street in Australia! And you'll agree!

Why we love it here

It’s got it all for your beach holiday – swimming, surfing, resorts, restaurants, shops, day spas … and ice-cream! From chic and glamourous to barefoot and beachy, whatever your holiday vibe, you’ll find it here. Step through to Noosa River’s ferry stop on one side and Noosa’s Main Beach on the other. You'll also find friendly locals at the Noosa Visitor Information Centre who can answer your holiday questions.

The shopping list

One of Australia's most iconic shopping precincts, along the pretty stretch of Hastings St, you'll find boutiques offering unique Noosa-born labels, international designers, high-end designer jewelry, Noosa souvenirs, art galleries featuring local artists, eclectic gift stores, surfboards, and surf gear, organic beauty products, beautiful homewares and more.

What’s on the menu

From beachfront to street-chic and casual takeaways, Hastings Street has a mouth-watering choice of upmarket cafes, coastal-cool bars, award-winning restaurants, tempting ice-cream shops, authentic pizzerias, and family-friendly burger joints. Go from locally roasted coffee and organic poke bowls to fresh seafood platters and beachfront cocktails, with everything else in between!

Our tip

Stroll to the western end of Hastings Street to Noosa Woods, a gorgeous spot for waterfront barbecues and picnics. Paths wind through to a dog-friendly beach at the Noosa River mouth – a favourite spot for watching the sun set.

Stroll through fairy-lit streets, taste locally sourced eats and browse fashion boutiques beside the beach.
