Discover locally-grown beans at Noosa Black Coffee and gourmet farm-grown mushrooms at nearby Eastwell Farms. Step out on the Noosa Trail Network, a series of tracks and trails over mixed terrain for walkers and horse and mountain bike riders. The Kin Kin Creation Markets are on the first Sunday of each month, and the newly-establish Kin Kin Art Fair takes place on various weekends throughout the year.

The Kin Kin General Store stocks a huge variety of local produce including Kin Kin honey and tea, jam, meat, fruit and vegetables. You can even buy locally made eco-friendly soap and dishwashing detergent!
The word Kin Kin comes from the indigenous word kauin kauin and refers to a species of black ant that is prevalent in the area. Keep your eyes out for the giant black ant statue in town!
A true paddock-to-plate experience is guaranteed at the Black Ant Gourmet Cafe where they dish up sustainably grown and sourced meals in stunning country surrounds, overlooking both the main street and the nearby rolling farmland hills. Or stop by the newly updated Kin Kin Hotel, which has undergone recent renovation works to restore the original pub and champion the goodness of locally available eat and drink experiences, for drinks, lunch, dinner and some good old country hospitality. (Thursday - Sunday 11am - 9pm, Sunday 11am - 5pm).

Locals & visitors relax on the wraparound veranda of the rustic General Store, and the exceptional menu, based on locally and ethically farmed and sourced ingredients - with some of the best seasonal food and local coffee around! Open daily for breakfast and lunch, and Friday for dinner.
