In Noosa we take our pristine environment seriously and protect what we love. Plastic Free Noosa is a whole-of-community plan with the goal to eliminate single-use plastic and to replace them with environmentally friendly alternatives.

You will find many businesses in Noosa proudly showcasing their Plastic Free Noosa Champion Award. What does this Award tell you, you might wonder? It means that this business has successfully eliminated 6 priority plastic items, namely water bottles, coffee cups and lids, straws, plastic bags, foodware and takeaway containers.
