Go car-free in Noosa this festive season with Noosa Council's great Go Noosa ways to get around town from this Saturday 12 December 2020 to 26 January 2021 – there's the free Loop Bus and public buses, discounted ferry passes, dedicated ‘Drop and Go’ zones, park & ride centres, paid parking in the Noosa Heads Lions Park and help with traffic control.

Noosa Ferry discount

Travel along the beautiful Noosa River on-board the Noosa Ferry with 7 stops between the Noosa Marina at Tewantin, Noosaville, Noosa Sound and Hastings Street, Noosa Heads.

Operates every 45 minutes from 8am to 6pm.

Discounted frequent travellers passes available for locals and visitors, including all-day hop-on-hop-off, or per zone one way or return.

Drop & Go Zones

Three 2-minute Drop & Go Zones for car passengers are located on Noosa Parade, at the Hastings St bus interchange, and on Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads. They’ll make it easier to pick up and drop off friends and family and all their beach gear.


Free Loop Bus

12 December 2020 to 26 January 2021

Departs the Noosa Heads bus terminal every 15 minutes from 7am to 7pm in a clockwise loop along Noosa Drive, Weyba Road, and Noosa Parade.

It will also operate at night, half-hourly from 7pm to 11pm.

Passengers can get on and off the bus at:

- Noosa Heads Bus Station

- Temporary stop opposite The J, Noosa Drive, Noosa Junction

- Temporary stop at Noosa Tigers Australian Football Club grounds in Weyba Road, Noosaville

- TransLink stop at William Street, Noosaville

- TransLink stop at Quamby Place, Noosa Sound.


Free Translink bus services

12 December 2020 to 26 January 2021

Travel for free from Cooran, Cooroy, Pomona, Tewantin, Noosaville, Noosa Civic Shopping Centre, Noosa Junction, Noosa Heads, Sunshine Beach, Sunrise Beach, and Peregian Beach. A weekend timetable will operate on public holidays:

- Route 626 – Tewantin to Sunrise Beach via Noosa Heads

- Route 627 – Tewantin to Sunshine Beach via Noosa Heads.

- Route 628 – Noosa Parklands to Noosa Junction via Noosa Civic.

- Route 629 – Tewantin to Noosa Junction via Noosa Civic.

- Route 632 – Noosa to Cooran via Cooroy and Pomona.

- Route 064 – Temporary Route 064 Peregian Beach to Noosa Heads

- Route 065 – Temporary 065 Go Noosa Loop

Park & Ride or walk

Normal car parking restrictions apply.

- 400 free car parking spaces at the Noosa Tigers Australian Football Club grounds in Weyba Road, Noosaville - then jump on the free Loop Bus.

- Noosa Junction - at The J, 60 Noosa Drive

- Long-stay parking at the Noosa Junction Transit Centre

- Tewantin - catch the Noosa Ferry


Traffic controllers

Will be in place in the Hastings Street area to help pedestrians cross busy roads and assist buses to get in and out of the traffic quickly.


Paid parking

Noosa Heads Lions Park, Noosa Parade, Noosa Heads, managed by the Tewantin Noosa Lions Club. Available all weekends during the school holidays and every day from Boxing Day to 17 January 2021.
