Expect a setting most serene as Little Seed Theatre Company performs The Tempest in an outdoor amphitheatre at Noosa Botanic Gardens on the shore of Lake Macdonald.

Little Seed Theatre Company, as part of the Anywhere Festival, continues the Anywhere tradition of Shakespeare On The Lake, with a performance that explores ideas of freedom and repentance.

In among the power play, betrayal and redemption unleashed by the storm, three unlikely characters plot mischief, mayhem and murder. A drunk butler (Stephano) and his soon to be equally drunk friend (Trinculo) unwittingly befriend the much maligned half-man, half-monster (Caliban). Young actors Jack Miller, Curtis Bock and Fraser Mason team up for the second time this year in comedic play (seen recently as three 'rats' in Fantastic Mr Fox).

Directed by Johanna Wallace.

As this is an outdoor event, please bring cushions, hats, BYO beverages, cheese and crackers, blankets and beanies for when the sun sets.

Performances also on Saturday and Sunday 18-19 May.

Book at anywhere.is/listings/thetempest.
