Noosa has taken out the title of ‘Best Town’ in the prestigious annual Australian Traveller 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards, voted by thousands of travel-loving Australians.
Beating some of the nation’s favourite destinations including Byron Bay (NSW), Port Douglas (Qld), Mudgee (NSW) and Margaret River (WA), the win reaffirms Noosa's place as one of Australia’s most beloved holiday destinations.
Readers said they loved Noosa’s vibrant mix of pristine coast, eucalypt forests and lush hinterland that makes this coastal gem a perennial favourite.
Noosa also impressed readers in several other categories, achieving runner-up honours for:

• Best Beach (Noosa Main Beach)
• Best Walk or Hike Destination (Noosa National Park)
• Best Destination for Wellness.
