Located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, travelling to Noosa from anywhere in Australia is easy. Once you’re here there are many ways to get around. Sunshine Coast Airport offers direct multiple daily flights
from Sydney and Melbourne with airline partners Jetstar and Virgin
connecting services from all major Australian capital
cities. Seasonal Auckland-Sunshine Coast (AKL-MCY) direct flights were
introduced from 2012, with Air New Zealand flying non-stop
to Sunshine Coast Airport from June to January this year. Noosa is a
30 minute drive north of Sunshine Coast Airport which
provides a range of ground transport options including rental cars,
taxis, bus transfers,

Brisbane Airport is Queensland’s domestic and international gateway, with over 200 flights departing and arriving daily. There are a number of bus services to and from Brisbane Airport.

Noosa is an easy 1 ½ hour drive north of Brisbane along the
Bruce Highway. Take the turn-off at Eumundi and follow the signs along
Road. If you’re arriving from the North, Noosa is around 1
hour south of Gympie. Just continue on the Bruce Highway out of Gympie
off at Cooroy then follow the signs along the Cooroy Noosa
Road until you reach Noosa.

Although there are no toll roads in Noosa* or the Sunshine
Coast, there are five toll roads in and around Brisbane. If you travel
on any of them
on your way to and from Noosa, you can pay the toll online
before you travel or up to 72 hours after travel – there are no toll
booths or toll
gates and the tolls are automatically calculated as your
vehicle passes each toll point. Costs vary depending on the road and
type of vehicle.
Failure to pay incurs a fine.
