What to do
Enjoy Noosa's beautiful beaches safely - swim between the flags on patrolled beaches and follow the instructions and advice of the surf lifesavers on duty.
Red and yellow flags are used to indicate the safest patrolled swimming area. Read more about beach safety from Surf Life Saving Queensland.
Take care when you head out into the sun - cover up and protect yourself against harmful UV rays. If you find yourself without sunscreen on the beach ask the surf lifesavers for some of their ready supply.
