Amara Retreat

Waking up at Amara with the sunrise provides each day with a glorious moment of feeling lucky to be alive. Watch the mist roll over the hills and into the valley beneath the Main Retreat House as you take the path to the 100sq m Yoga/Seminar Centre, The Heart Centre. This overlooks the expansive northerly view to the coast.

The stunning Hampton's-style Retreat House offers outside areas for people to lounge and relax, with light breezes and sweeping views to the north. The double daybed offers a cosy place for reading and several nooks and crannies for people to recede into privacy.

Walk the 44 undulating acres to be surprised by grazing kangaroos and wallabies while being serenaded by kookaburras and native birdlife. A rock balancing garden provides another meditative space among lush, riparian forests.

Swim in the 4000sq m sacred waterhole or repose in the 6-people steam sauna and take a dip in the magnesium salt pool to wash away any residual tension.

Then finish the day with the setting sun over the valley with a fire circle ceremony at Amara Retreat's purpose-built fire circle area.

Reset, recharge and inspire at Amara Retreat.
