Annie McDonald Glass Art Studio

Annie has been working in glass since 1985, creating leadlighting, kiln-fired slumping and fusing work, also Pate de Verre and working with many different types of glass to create works of art.

She's been living on the coast for 45 years and her love of her home shines through in her creations.

Annie McDonald Glass Art Studio is in beautiful Black Mountain in the Noosa hinterland, set on Annie's acreage property which is a 20-minute drive from the Noosa River and not far from the ocean. She is passionate about her environment which gives her great inspiration for her glasswork.

Annie's glasswork is functional and she also displays exhibition work in her studio. See various sized platters, plates, jewellery, larger fused glass, Annie's Wave Series displayed on local timber, and her new Pate de Verre work - it's French for 'glass paste' and Annie has created bowls and leaves of various sizes.

Come and visit Annie in her studio - she would love to show you her work and explain her creative passion for glass.

Annie McDonald Glass Art Studio is only 3 minutes from the hinterland town of Cooroy where you can stop for a coffee, brew or lunch as there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. You can also visit the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre or go for a walk along the Noosa Trail Network.

As it is a working studio, Annie McDonald Glass Art Studio is open most days but please call ahead and make a day of enjoying the Noosa hinterland.
