Enter the Flyosphere

The Noosa River estuary hosts an incredible 69 waterbird species including almost half of all shorebird species that migrate each summer from the northern hemisphere. The Enter the Flyosphere program raises awareness of Noosa's threatened shorebirds and conserves key foraging and breeding habitat in the Noosa estuary. Join an eco-friendly expedition around the estuary with expert shorebird volunteers from the Noosa Integrated Catchment Association to explore the estuary and sight these iconic species.

Stay tuned for the launch of this exciting new project, and the start of eco-conscious boat tours of the estuary, to view the shorebirds and habitat in the Noosa Frying Pan section, run by Noosa Intergrated Catchment Association (NICA).
