1. Stay

jetty63noosa is a riverfront property on the north shore of the Noosa River where you can get away and experience this unspoilt waterfront playground.

The guest bungalow at jetty63noosa, "driftaway", is set in the gardens with access to the river and jetty - you will spend the days fishing, boating, kayaking, catching mud crabs or relaxing for sunset drinks. There's even an open log fire, all in beautiful surroundings.

Nearby are deserted beach walks, surfing, beach horse riding and the beach road to Rainbow Beach and on to K'Gari (Fraser Island).

Guests at jetty63noosa have access to the jetty for fishing etc. If you bring your own boat or hire from one of many boat hire shops on the Noosa River, you can moor it at the jetty, ready to step into at any time.

Close to the jetty are a picnic table, BBQ, and a second undercover table and chairs.

The owners live on the property so are generally available and happy to assist if you need it. There is no public transport on this side of the river so you will need your own car or bicycle for a short car ferry trip across the Noosa River. The ferry runs constantly from 5.30am to 10.20pm from Sunday to Thursday, and until 12.20am on Friday and Saturday nights. The ferry costs $8 each way but there is a limited number of free passes for guests at jetty63noosa.

Why we love it

1. Catch fish from your own jetty or from the ocean beach

2. Water ski straight from the river beach

3. Kick off on the Great Cooloola Walk

4. Moor your own boat at the Noosa River jetty right on the property

5. Relax in front of the open log fireplace
