FRI 25 - SUN 27 JUNE | The Noosa Hill Climb motorsport event will see more than 130 cars face the speed challenge of ‘The Hill’, up Gyndier Drive, Tewantin.
The track has 14 corners winding through Tewantin National Park and the event draws competitors from across Australia. Spectators will be entertained with the thrills and spills of close competition as the drivers race to be the fastest car to the top.
The Noosa Hill Climb, presented by the Noosa Beach Classic Car Club, is classed as one of the premier hill climb events in Australia. Over the years it has attracted such notables as Vern Schuppan, Kevin Bartlett, Dick and Steve Johnson and Glenn Seton. A broad range of makes and models compete such as the Skelta, XU1s, Minis, Fiats, GTs, Jags, Open Wheel Hill Climb Specials plus the Touring Car Masters cars.
The Noosa Beach Classic Car Club came from humble beginnings with a few car enthusiasts back in 1988, and now has many annual events including the Noosa Hill Climb and Noosa Beach Classic Car Show.
