SATURDAY 1 - SUNDAY 2 MAY | Sunshine Sounds is a 2-day, all-ages live music festival in Eumundi, near the Noosa hinterland, featuring Kate Miller-Heidke, Busby Marou, Miiesha, Katie Noonan, Asha Jefferies, Sahara Beck and more.
Also see an amazing line-up of Sunshine Coast artists including Andrea Kirwin and the Yama-Nui Social Club, The Dreggs, Band of Frequencies and others.
The boutique festival, being held on Queensland's Labour Day long weekend, is presented by Kin Music, run by performer and Eumundi local, Katie Noonan.
The festival program is 100% Queensland artists, 50% First Nations, 50% Sunshine Coast and 75% female artists.
Music is from 11am - 10pm each day (gates open 10am), with plenty of local food and drinks available on-site.
The Sunday program includes a Sunshine Sounds Community Choir, where festival-goers can join a group sing-song for all ages and abilities. There’ll even be pre-fest rehearsals in Eumundi.
Daily tickets are $80 adults, $40 child (under 18 yrs) or $200 for a family pass (+ booking fee). Weekend passes are also available.
Sunshine Sounds is a glass-free and plastic-free event, so please BYO bottle for complimentary water refills thanks to Unity Water. No BYO alcohol.
Supporting the event is The Imperial Hotel and Eumundi Brewery, who will serve drinks, including the locally crafted Folktale Gin.
Sunshine Sounds Festival has been supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland with an Open Air Grant. The festival is also supported by the Eumundi Community and District Association and Experience Eumundi.
