Food with a view

If you would like a side of stunning water, sunset or countryside views with your meal, Noosa’s restaurants serve up some of the best! You’ll find fresh flavours from around the world in restaurant strips along Hastings Street and on the beachfront, on the water at Noosa Sound, along the riverfront on Gympie Tce and nearby Thomas Street in Noosaville, overlooking country farms, and dotted throughout bustling villages.

Paddock-to-plate

Our chefs showcase delicious food that is fished, farmed and produced right here, thanks to Noosa’s idyllic location between the sea and hinterland and easy access to some of Australia’s freshest local produce. You’ll find Noosa Reds tomatoes; Mooloolaba prawns; Fraser Island spanner crabs; Kenilworth and Woombye cheeses; Cooloola berries; and feijoas, finger limes and macadamias from the Noosa hinterland – along with plenty more local produce on menus.

Snail of approval and slow food

Many Noosa chefs go the extra mile to reduce food miles, which is better for our healthy environment and for you. Noosa hosts Australia’s largest Slow Food group which launched Australia’s first Snail of Approval Program – look out for the red snail logo that shows this eatery serves food from our local area that is good, clean and fair – and tastes delicious.

Family-friendly fare

If the kids aren’t quite ready yet for fine dining, there are plenty of family-friendly options, from pizza and pasta to welcoming restaurants including surf clubs at Noosa Heads and Sunshine Beach with the best ocean views; sporting and RSL clubs; and the Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club, right on the river’s edge in Noosaville.

Check out some of the pubs with kids’ games rooms or country restaurants with plenty of open space.
