Queensland's biggest tourism celebration of the year comes to the Sunshine Coast in November with DestinationQ, Destination IQ and the Queensland Tourism Awards being held in the region.
The annual DestinationQ Forum is Queensland’s leading tourism industry event, bringing industry and government together to connect, collaborate and share knowledge to grow the visitor economy. The theme is Tourism Beyond 2020 - Innovating for the Future.

DestinationQ coincides with the Queensland Tourism Industry Council’s Destination IQ Forum on 6 November. Join QTIC and the QTIC Indigenous Champions Network as they discuss important issues and opportunities to enhance First Nations tourism and further drive indigenous employment.
The event will see the release of the First Nations Potentials Plan and your attendance will also help support Tourism Noosa’s Trees for Tourism initiative.
The tourism industry’s night of nights, the Queensland Tourism Awards, will be held at the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre, Novotel Twin Waters on Friday 8 November. Tickets have sold out but you can call 07 3236 1445 to be wait-listed.
