Known as an active bunch we're totally spoilt for choice when it comes to outdoor gyms here in Noosa. So in true local guide form, we've rounded up our top 10 must-do workout stops you've got to try on your next active Noosa stay!

In no particular order, let's browse through our fav FREE workout spots...

Number Uno

The Sunshine Beach (deadly) Staircase.

You'll have your heart pumping on this one folks! Found at the end of North Sunshine (past the doggo beach) this headland staircase is the entryway to the southern end of Noosa National Park headland and cardio workout dreams.

The Noosa National Park - Headland Section

This walking wonderland offers 5 epic tracks to explore! So grab your running shoes and choose your tracks to discover this epic landscape of coastal outlooks and Aussie bush.

Number Three

Ocean Swimming

If laps in Mother Nature's Pool sound like total aquatic goals, make a B-line for Noosa Main Beach. This stunning coastal stretch is one of only a few north-facing beaches on the east coast of Aus. Its protective nature sets a lappable scene to practise those Olympic worthy strokes.

Number Four

The Noosa National Park - Peregian Beach Section

If short-lived walks and spectacular views are your thing, this one is for you! Welcome to Emu Mountain found in Peregian Beach and a part of the Southen section of Noosa National Park. This spot boasts 3 short walking tracks, memorable outlooks and snappable spots.

Number Five

Noosa World Surfing Reserve

Ahhh, surfing - the activity we know and love so well here in Noosa. From Laguna Bay’s protected waters to superb long point breaks, catching waves is a must-do while immersing yourself in the Noosa life. ☀️🌴🏄‍♀️ So BYO surfboard for this folks OR if you're a keen learner, this one may require a little help with affordable lessons from our mates at Noosa Learn to Surf and Go Ride a Wave.

Number Six

Mt Cooroora

This mountain-scape home to the Pomona King of the Mountain is one for the challengers, so be prepared to get sweaty! Sitting at a whopping 446m above sea level, this climb is amongst one of the famed workout hangs here in Noosa. Chuck on that hiking gear and make the climb. The views are worth it!

Number Seven

Tewantin National Park

Home to 2 walking tracks and 10 bike riding tracks the Tewantin National Park has something for everyone. Feeling the morning laze? Make the short but rewarding 1km stroll from Mt Tinbeerwah's carpark to the peak and soak up the golden hour views.

Number Eight

The Noosa River

The Gympie Terrace riverfront walk appeals to walkers, runners, riders and skaters. Its flat landscape along the spectacular foreshore makes it one up the top of our bucket list! Be sure to leave some time for a morning coffee pit-stop post-workout at one of the many cafes that line this Noosaville strip.

Coastal Walking from Sunrise Beach to Peregian Beach

Ride, walk or run along the hidden coastal track that follows the David Low Way. Take in seaside views and the sensation of the salty breeze as you wander along this 8km track that winds between beachside villages and national park.🌴🌊

Lucky Last

The Noosa Trail Network

Enjoy the spectacular Noosa countryside on The Noosa Trail Network on foot, pedals and horseback. Trails are well signposted and include picnic shelters, water tanks, interpretative signs and scenic lookouts. The trails vary in length and across a range of terrain catering to all fitness levels.
