From farm gates to fresh plates
The green Noosa hinterland feeds the region’s restaurants and cafes, with farms that yield fresh, seasonal fruit and vegetables – and you can have your own taste at many of the farm gates, markets and roadside stalls. Pick your own strawberries; eat fresh feijoas; find local honey, organic meats and coffee; enjoy bush tucker; and visit the Nut Factory and Ginger Factory.
The hinterland towns are also home to historic country pubs that serve hearty meals and cool drinks (one even has its own brewery), there’s a gin distillery and Queensland’s first meadery, you’ll find great coffee and restaurants and take-home meals where many ingredients have come from just down the road.
