Many ways to discover this ancient and pristine landscape
Noosa North Shore is a pristine landscape surrounded by beach, lakes and National Park – great for camping, fishing, beach horse-riding, surfing, bike riding, 4 wheel driving and more (permits required for most camping and driving). It’s also the gateway to the Cooloola Great Walk through the Great Sandy National Park, and to World Heritage-listed Fraser Island.
Guided and tag-along 4 wheel drive tours are available from Noosa or drive yourself along Noosa North Shore, past Teewah village and the ancient and incredible Coloured Sands. Discover ancient sand dunes, sparkling blue ocean, miles of white sandy beaches and native wildlife including kangaroos and birds. Go all the way to Rainbow Beach, Double Island Point and on to the Fraser Island vehicular ferry. Kayak on Lake Cooroibah or explore beach and forest tracks and trails.
