What to do
WHY WE LOVE IT HERE
Nearby Emu Mountain (Peregian means emu in the indigenous Kabi Kabi language) is a fairly easy climb with mesmerising coastal and hinterland views. Walk or ride a bike for miles along the golden sand or coastal path.
There's a great skate park and children’s playground right along the beachfront.
On the first and third Sunday morning of each month, the open-air Peregian Beach Markets have a great range of local arts, fashion and food.
The much-loved Peregian Originals free live music events are held on the second Sunday of every month in the park right beside the beach.
WHAT'S ON THE MENU
