Boats, ferry, skating, art, golf and more
Catch the Noosa Ferry to Noosa Marina in Tewantin, with its riverfront shops, restaurants and boat moorings, or take a short riverfront walk to the main village. On the way, stop in at Noosa Regional Gallery which hosts local and touring exhibitions, and has a wonderful gallery shop with unique arts and gifts.
A skate park and toddler’s water park are right on the river, with plenty of room for picnics or to enjoy takeaway fish and chips from Noosa Marina, which is also a launch-pad for river cruises. Homewares, galleries, spas, cafes and florists tempt in Tewantin, and the Noosa Marina craft and produce markets are held each Sunday, 8am - 2pm.
Play golf, or just up the road Tewantin National Park has some of the best bike trails around, and the easily accessible Mt Tinbeerwah lookout has stunning coastal and hinterland views – especially for sunrise and sunset. Catch the vehicular ferry from Tewantin to Noosa North Shore, the Great Sandy National Park and on to Fraser Island.
