At the Tourism Noosa Annual General Meeting 2021, members voted to support a Resolution to adopt a new Constitution. Changes included a reduction in the number of Directors from a maximum of 13, to a Board of 7, with more emphasis on skills-based Directors.
The new Constitution aims to increase the Board’s effectiveness, enabling Directors to focus on the implementation of the Company’s strategy.
Expressions of interest in writing, setting out the qualifications and experience that address the selection criteria, including a resume, must be received by the Secretary by 5pm on 22 December 2021.
Directors will be selected on skills-based criteria. Directors' positions are voluntary.

The Tourism Noosa Board of Directors consists of representatives from our organisation's membership, industry and community, carrying out the objectives of the Destination Noosa Strategy 2020 - 2023.
Tourism Noosa is the official tourism organisation for the Noosa Shire region on the Sunshine Coast, covering from Noosa Heads and Noosaville, south to Sunshine and Peregian Beach, and from Tewantin to the Noosa hinterland towns of Boreen Point, Cooroy, Pomona, Cooran and Kin Kin.
Celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2021, we are an award-winning, not-for-profit, membership-based organisation that works with local businesses, Noosa Council and other stakeholders to promote the destination to domestic and international consumers, the tourism trade and media.
We are one of the strongest tourism membership organisations in Queensland with more than 600 members from a diverse range of sectors including accommodation providers, tour operators, retail businesses, restaurants, real estate agents, health and wellbeing, weddings and businesses that service the tourism industry.
All of these businesses share one thing in common - they are committed to the development of sustainable tourism within our region.
