The 32nd edition of the Noosa Festival of Surfing will be held in the beautiful waters of Noosa’s Laguna Bay, along with plenty of events out of the water too.
The surfing festival is a collaboration between the Noosa Malibu Club and World Surfaris. Presented by Gemlife, the Noosa Festival of Surfing is the largest surf gathering in the world, and this year will return to the core roots established more than three decades ago!
In 2023, we welcome back the World Surf League (WSL) for a Longboard Qualifying Event which gives 2 lucky surfers the chance to qualify and compete on the World Tour Series kicking off later this year.
Once again the age-old rivalries across the senior divisions will be on full display, while in the juniors, witness the supreme talent that continues to shine at the Festival.
On Saturday 4 March, the VetShopAustralia Dog Surfing Championships will kick off around 3pm, closely followed by the opening ceremony which includes a Welcome to Country by Lyndon Davis, and the annual Paddle Out led by current World Champion and Noosa local, Harrison Roach.
