Pomona Railway Station Gallery

The Old Pomona Railway Station Gallery in the Noosa hinterland town of Pomona is a collection of charming gallery spaces showcasing a range of local art. Surrounded by lush gardens with a backdrop of Mount Cooroora, the gallery is a community-run space committed to serving local artists and craftspeople.

The gallery is part of the Noosa Gallery Trail, Noosa Country Drive and the Sunshine Coast Art Gallery Trail.

When the original railway station was scheduled to be demolished, community spirit rallied and the locals worked together to acquire the buildings, moving them from the railway line to its current place.

Since opening in March 2001 the gallery has grown from two buildings to five, creating unique spaces for creative art and crafts.

Entirely staffed by volunteers, the gallery thrives on selling local art and providing a wealth of local information for tourists.
