Noosa Festival of Surfing - Waste Warriors

Become a Waste Warrior and soak up the atmosphere of this years Noosa Festival of Surfing from 8-17th March, 2024. Help this leading Plastic Free Sustainable Event meet its goal to divert 75% of all event waste away from landfill.

Volunteers get to;

• Educate festival goers to refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose & recycle
• Get involved with measuring the event’s Climate Active Carbon Neutral footprint with survey collections and support Sea Trees & Trees for Tourism to make this event Carbon Positive.
• Learn from local community groups and their activities & initiatives to help protect our coastlines
• Join our weekend Plastic Free Noosa Beach Clean ups and learn how keeping off the dunes helps protect our turtle hatchlings and shorebirds nesting areas.
