TOURISM NOOSA BOARD: EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Expressions of interest are invited for three positions on the Board of Tourism Noosa Ltd.

Candidates are asked to submit a written expression of interest which:

  • Highlights their specific talents, career strengths and experience, and
  • Addresses the eligibility criteria which provides a guideline to the background strengths and understanding required.

1 X Board Elect Director Position

This Director position will be selected following interviews conducted by the current Board.

The interviews will focus on skills required to ensure a wide range of capabilities at a Board level to best serve our industry, members and community.

2 X Member Elect Director Positions

This Director positions will be selected based on the eligibility criteria, and voting by members will be conducted online via the digital platform Election Buddy. A unique voting key will be sent via email to eligible Tourism Noosa Members.

A Member Elect Director is appointed for three years and must be a financial member of Tourism Noosa.

Time commitment

Duties as a Director of Tourism Noosa will involve a commitment of approximately 10 hours per month depending on:

  • The frequency of scheduled Board meeting and the annual general meeting of the Company;
  • Strategy sessions;
  • Professional development; and
  • Board Committee meetings.

Expressions of interest must be received by the Secretary no later than 5pm on 26 September 2025.
