Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The Promoter is Tourism Noosa 21/2 Noosa Marina, Parkyn Court, Tewantin QLD 4565.
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. Employees of Tourism Noosa and their immediate families are not eligible.
3. Competition Dates
- Opens: Friday 16 May 2025, 3pm AEST
- Closes: Friday 23 May 2025, 12pm AEST
- Winner Announced: Friday 23 May 2025 via @visitnoosa Instagram Stories.
4. How to Enter
During the competition period, entrants must complete the following steps to receive entries:
- 1 Entry: Like the giveaway post on the @visitnoosa Instagram page or Facebook page
- 1 Entry per Tag: Comment and tag at least one friend (multiple comments with unique tags = multiple entries)
- +1 Bonus Entry: Share the giveaway post to your Instagram Stories and tag @visitnoosa so we can see it
- Follow Requirement: Follow both @visitnoosa and @noosaeatdrink on Instagram
Instagram profiles must be public, or stories must tag @visitnoosa, to verify bonus entries.
5. Prize
- Two (2) Festival Village Weekend Passes for General Admission for two (2) people to attend the Noosa Eat & Drink Festival Village 2025 on both Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1
- Total value: approx. $136.84 AUD
- Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Failure to use the prize across the 2025 Noosa Eat & Drink Festival will result in the prize being forfeited
- The value of the prize is accurate as at the commencement of this promotion. Tourism Noosa accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize after this date
- The prize includes only what is specified in the prize package outlined in the Terms and Conditions and does not include any additional items such as travel, insurance, items of a personal nature or other incidentals or ancillary costs. All such costs are the responsibility of the winner.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
- Winner chosen by random draw from eligible entries
- Notified via Instagram Direct Message
- Must respond within 48 hours to claim prize or a new winner may be drawn
- Announcement will also be made on Instagram Stories.
7. Conditions
- Prize subject to availability and event terms
- Tourism Noosa reserves the right to substitute the prize with something of equal value
- Tourism Noosa is not responsible for technical issues, lost entries or prize changes due to government regulations
- Only the person who entered the competition may be awarded the prize.
- Winner must comply with venue health and safety requirements
- To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail
- Tourism Noosa and/or any employees, contractors and agents or employees of their contractors and agents, and companies providing prize elements, reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner or any/all companions to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if it determines, in its absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. The winner and their companions may be required to sign a legal release and/or other documentation in a form determined by Tourism Noosa in its absolute discretion
- The promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
8. Liability
The winner accepts their prize at their own risk. To the full extent permitted by law neither Tourism Noosa, and/or any of their employees, contractors and agents or employees of their contractors and agents, and companies providing major prizes for the promotion, will not be held liable for any liability/ loss/ damage/ expense/ death/ personal injury suffered or incurred or any dispute (including, but not limited to, direct/indirect/consequential loss) arising out of, or in connection with, this promotion, the provision of prizes, use or participation in such prizes or promotion of this competition.
9. Privacy
Personal details are collected for the purpose of administering this competition and subscribing entrants to the Visit Noosa and Noosa Eat & Drink email lists, in line with Tourism Noosa’s Privacy Policy.
