The Mill Place Precinct is a creative learning precinct at the geographic and social heart of the Cooroy community. The precinct includes the Cooroy Library, The Butter Factory Arts Centre, The Ceramics Workshop, The Lower Mill Site, Cooroora Woodworkers and Sunshine Coast Camphor Laurel Initiative Inc.
It is also home to the annual Cooroy Fusion Festival.
The precinct is an accessible, welcoming community hub that draws people together. It is a place that inspires and nurtures the community's recreational, educational, cultural and creative needs.
